OrindaBuild 5.0 is a development accelerator for people who use Java and PL/SQL:

• It does as much of the work as possible by examining Oracle's data dictionary and your SQL statements.
• It can write code to access procedures with %ROWTYPE, PL/SQL Record and Array parameters. Where possible it returns cursors as arrays of class instances.
• It's not a Java source code editor. Instead you pick database objects and it writes Java to run them for you.

Compatability:

• Oracle Database Server - OrindaBuild works against all versions of Standard and Enterprise Oracle from V8.1.5 (8i) to V11.1 (11g). OrindaBuild works with Oracle XE but is not supported against Oracle Lite.
• Java - OrindaBuild is developed and tested with Sun Java 1.4 and higher.
• Operating Systems - OrindaBuild is supported on Sun Solaris, Linux and Windows.
• SQL*Net/Precompilers - OrindaBuild uses the Oracle 'thin' driver and does not require SQL*Net or a precompiler.

Pricing & Licencing:

• Run time Binaries - There isn't one. OrindaBuild is a source code generator. Generated code uses a library called 'com.orindasoft.pub'. Purchasers get the source code to this library as well as the ability to generate all the code they want.
• Licence Periods - Orinda software offers 3, 6, 9, 12 month and perpetual licences. When the licence expires you can no longer generate new code but existing code keeps working.
• Purchase Methods - OrindaBuild can be bought online using WorldPay or PayPal. We also take purchase orders by prior agreement.
• Support - OrindaBuild comes with web and email support for the duration of the licence. Higher levels of support are available for site licence purchasers.
