OrindaBuild Consultancy is included with purchases of one or more perpetual licences.
Each purchase includes 1 hours of consultancy. The aim of the consultancy is to make sure that the new owner of OrindaBuild is able to use it effectively and efficiently and is not dependent in any way on Orinda Software for maintenance of existing applications or development of new ones. This makes it very different from a conventional outsourcing arrangement.
By focusing on how to use our product we deliver significant value to our customers without the long ramp up time associated with conventional consultancy relationships.
While we are willing to provide general Oracle/Java assistance our core competency is the OrindaBuild problem space.
Even though OrindaBuild is simple to use it still has a learning curve and experience has shown that new customers typically encounter issues in areas such as:
Integration of generated code with existing code.- Incorporation into existing build processes.
- The best way to use generated code.
- How to use OrindaBuild to create Java wrappers for SQL statements.
Depending on a customer's situation an engagement can range from simply answering questions by email to recreating a customers database schema and then generating access code.
Logistics

Work will be done by senior developers with expert knowledge of the problem domain.
- Consultancy will be email based due to time zone differences.
- Consultancy can take form of
answering questions from your developers. We can also generate the code for you if we have access to your database schema.
- Orinda Software will sign any reasonable customer NDA on request.

Each sale of one or more perpetual licences includes
1 hours of consultancy.

Additional work is US$
100/hr.

The hourly rate reflects skills of our consultants.

OrindaBuild pricing is extremely competitive compared to
hiring a contract employee to do the work.

The customer owns all code generated by OrindaBuild.

Generated code uses a Java library written by Orinda Software. The customer has a perpetual right to use this library.

Orinda Software will send written confirmation of this on request.

Communication will be via email.

Communication will be in the English language.

Customer will be using a single byte character set.

Emails will be responded to within 24 hours, allowing for weekends and Irish public holidays.

The Customer will be using a version of Oracle supported by OrindaBuild.
